JAMES S. BETTERSWORTH
James S. Bettersworth was born in England while his father was serving in the United States Air Force. His family moved to Texas in 1970. Mr. Bettersworth received his undergraduate degree from Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas and then secured his Juris Doctorate from St. Mary's Law School in 1997. Since that time, Mr. Bettersworth has successfully represented clients in matters that pertain to the following areas of the law:

In addition to being licensed to practice in the state courts of Texas, Mr. Bettersworth is also licensed to practice in the Federal Courts of the Western District of Texas. On April 21, 2000, he was licensed to practice in the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals located in New Orleans and has had the honor and privilege of arguing before a judicial panel for this court. Mr. Bettersworth is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
Mr. Bettersworth understands the extreme amount of stress and cost that is
